Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 5, 2026

FoxFit ("FoxFit", "we", "us", or "our") is a family fitness app that helps children (ages 4–12) move, stretch, and build healthy habits together with a friendly fox companion. FoxFit is available as a mobile app and, for the television, as a web app at https://foxfittv.com. This app is designed for children and families, and protecting your family's privacy is important to us.

This Privacy Policy explains what information FoxFit collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. Because FoxFit is intended for children, we follow child-privacy laws including the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, including provisions for children), and the Google Play Families Policy.

If you are a parent or guardian and have any questions, please contact us at foxfitkids@gmail.com.

1. Information We Collect

We aim to collect only what we need to make FoxFit work.

a. Account information. To use features such as Friends and to sync progress across devices, an account can be created through Firebase Authentication (for example, using an email address or a Google account). Accounts are intended to be created and managed by a parent or guardian.

b. Profile information. A display name and the fox character you choose (for example, the boy or girl fox). If you use the Friends feature, this basic profile can be shared with friends you connect with.

c. Activity and app progress. Your physical-activity data such as step counts, completed workouts and 30-Day Challenge days, streaks, energy, and in-app achievements. Some of this is stored on your device; some may be synced to our cloud database to power features like Friends and leaderboards.

d. Friends and social data. If you use the Friends feature, we store your friend connections and the basic profile and activity information needed to show friends' progress and leaderboards. Friends can be added in-app, including by scanning a QR code.

e. Notifications token. To send reminders and friend notifications, we register a push-notification token through Firebase Cloud Messaging.

f. Device and usage information. Basic technical information such as device model, operating-system version, app version, app-instance identifiers, and interaction and diagnostic data, collected through Google Firebase (including Firebase Analytics) to keep the app working and to improve it. Firebase Analytics in FoxFit is used only for app functionality and improvement; it is not used for advertising, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles of children.

g. Advertising data. FoxFit shows limited advertisements through Google AdMob (see Section 5). Because FoxFit is a child-directed app, these ads are non-personalized: they are not based on your child's interests, and we do not collect or use an advertising identifier to track children across apps or over time. To show non-personalized ads, prevent fraud, and measure that ads displayed correctly, the ad service may process limited, non-identifying information such as coarse (country-level) region, the fact that an ad was shown, and general device type.

h. Purchase information. If you buy a subscription (Premium / Fox Club) or the Remove Ads option, the purchase is handled by Google Play Billing. Google Play processes the payment and shares with us only the information we need to unlock the purchase (for example, a purchase token and status). We never receive or store your payment-card details.

Photos stay on your device. FoxFit's augmented-reality "Fox Camera" adds a fox character to photos. Images are captured and processed entirely on your device using on-device machine-learning models, and are only saved to your device or shared when you choose to. We never receive, upload, or store your Fox Camera photos.

We do not collect precise location, and FoxFit does not request location permission. We do not record audio.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information above to:

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use children's information for behavioral or targeted advertising.

3. Permissions We Request

FoxFit only asks for permissions needed for specific features. You can grant or deny these, and change them later in your device settings.

4. How Information Is Shared

We share information only in these limited ways:

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers for targeted advertising.

5. Advertising

FoxFit shows a limited number of advertisements through Google AdMob, a Google advertising service. Because FoxFit is designed for children:

Google AdMob may process limited, non-identifying information to serve and measure non-personalized ads and to prevent fraud, as described in Google's policies (policies.google.com/technologies/ads).

6. FoxFit TV

FoxFit TV (https://foxfittv.com) lets you use FoxFit in a television's web browser. To link a TV to the app, a parent opens FoxFit TV on the television and enters the short pairing code shown, or scans it with the app. Pairing temporarily connects the two so that your child's language, current progress, and whether Premium is active can be shown on the TV, and so that sessions completed on the TV count toward progress in the app. Pairing codes are temporary and expire automatically. FoxFit TV runs on our own service hosted by Cloudflare; it does not require an additional account and does not collect additional personal information beyond the progress data described above.

7. Children's Privacy

FoxFit is designed for children and families, and we take children's privacy seriously.

If you believe a child has provided us information without parental consent, please contact us at foxfitkids@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep information for as long as an account is active or as needed to provide the app's features, then delete or anonymize it. You can request deletion of an account and its associated data at any time by contacting us at foxfitkids@gmail.com. Data stored only on your device is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including the security provided by Google Firebase and Cloudflare. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your family's data.

10. Third-Party Services

FoxFit uses the following third-party services, which may process limited data as described above:

These Google services are governed by Google's Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

11. International Data Transfers

Information may be processed and stored on servers operated by our providers in countries other than where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

12. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you (or a parent or guardian on a child's behalf) may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of personal information, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at foxfitkids@gmail.com. You can also manage permissions and notifications in your device settings, and manage or cancel subscriptions in the Google Play Store.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice in the app.
